Right now, we’re looking for a full-time Banking Operations Trainee (Finnish speaking) to join our Banking Operations team.
As a Banking Operations Trainee, you will be part of our international Banking Operations team, working closely with your colleagues in Helsinki and Berlin. Together, you will ensure that daily operations run smoothly. Your role will focus primarily on managing external inquiries and providing high-quality support to our customers.
A typical day could see you:
Operational Excellence: Participate in the daily operations of the Banking Operations team, managing processes related to seizures, insolvencies, and requests from authorities.
Process and Compliance: Assist in the definition, maintenance, and implementation of team procedures in accordance with our compliance policies and standards. You will also help with quality reviews of third-party requests and other team tasks.
Continuous Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to help enhance team efficiency.
This is for you if:
You're fluent in Finnish and English, both in writing and speaking
Your analytical skills and attention to detail are top-notch
You’re motivated to learn task prioritization and to address any issues with guidance
You are interested in compliance and regulations: assessing complex cases in line with compliance requirements is a challenge you're interested to tackle
You're curious, a quick learner, and love sharing your learnings with others
It's a plus if:
You have a background in banking, law, or compliance
You have customer service experience

Logistics:
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with a fixed-term contract for one year
The first two weeks will be dedicated to onboarding at the office, after which employees are expected in the office two days per week according to company policy.
Flexible work hours between 08:00 and 18:00 in our beautiful Helsinki office
