We founded Holvi in 2011, in Helsinki. As self-employed people wading through oceans of paperwork, we noticed something funny going on – traditional banks were giving us the cold shoulder. Why not help ourselves? We asked. And so, with time and effort (and lots of coffee), we mastered small business finance – and Holvi was born.

Our vision is simple: Eliminate the distractions of financial admin and simplify work life, because running a business is hard enough. Small businesses shouldn’t have to worry about spreadsheets and lost receipts.

Right now, we’re looking for a part-time Finnish speaking Customer Operations Trainee (12 months fixed-term contract) to join our Customer Operations team.

As a Customer Operations Trainee at Holvi, your main responsibility is to support existing customers to keep their business information up to date.

A typical day could see you:

• Review, evaluate and verify customer data and documents

• Reach out to customers by email for additional information related to open requests

• Review account applications based on our guidelines and policies

• Action customer maintenance request, ensuring our customer data stays accurate

• Support with other Customer Lifecycle Management related tasks

• Call customers in order to assist them in the onboarding or information update process

This is for you if:

• You're fluent in Finnish and English, both in writing and speaking

• Your analytical skills and attention to detail are top-notch

• Prioritizing tasks and promptly addressing any issues comes naturally to you

• You are interested in compliance and regulations: assessing complex cases in line with compliance requirements is a challenge you're interested to tackle

• You're curious, a quick learner, and love sharing your learnings with others

• You have a customer-centric mindset and communicating with customers over phone and email brings you joy

It's a plus if:

• You are fluent in German in writing

• You have a background in banking, law, or compliance

• You've got previous experience onboarding customers to regulated services

• You have customer service experience

You will be part of our operations team and your work helps to fulfill Holvi's regulatory and compliance obligations.

Logistics:

• This position comes with 20 weekly working hours and a temporary 1 year contract

• This is a part-time position (20 h/week) with a monthly gross salary of €1,234.19

• Flexible work hours between 08:00 and 18:00 in our beautiful Helsinki office

• Your contract is based on the agreed weekly hours
